Is the $25 weekly additional payment still available?

Only if your regular Federal EUC or Federal-State Extended Benefits (EB) account was established before May 30, 2010.

Who is eligible for the $25 additonal payment?

Applicants who established a regular unemployment benefit account, a tier of Federal EUC, or Federal-State Extended Benefits (EB) before May 30, 2010. If you are currently receiving the $25 additional payment, you will continue to receive it until you move to the next tier or to Federal-State Extended Benefits (EB).

Is there an end date to be eligible for this payment?

Yes. You must have established a regular state unemployment account or a tier of Federal EUC before May 30, 2010 to receive this payment.

How long is the $25 payment available?

The last payable week for the $25 weekly additional payment is the week beginning December 5, 2010.

How will I know if I received the $25 additional payment?

You can verify you received the $25 payment by reviewing your:

  • bank account statement if you have direct deposit, or;
  • unemployment debit card statement if you have an unemployment debit card.
