Who is eligible for the $25 additional payment?
Applicants who receive unemployment benefit payments – regular unemployment benefits, federal EUC, or Federal-State Extended Benefits*.
*Applicants receiving state EUC are not eligible for the $25 additional payment.

No application is necessary to receive the $25 weekly additional payment.
How do I get the $25 payment?
Just continue to request unemployment benefits each week as usual and the $25 payment will be made automatically.
Is there an end date to be eligible for this payment?
Yes. You must be eligible on or before the week beginning April 4, 2010 to receive this payment.
How long is the $25 payment available?
The last payable week for the $25 weekly additional payment (referred to as Federal Additional Compensation or FAC) is the week beginning October 3, 2010.
How will I know if I received the $25 additional payment?
You can verify you received the $25 payment by reviewing your:
- bank account statement if you have direct deposit, or;
- unemployment debit card statement if you have an unemployment debit card.
