Once you have exhausted your regular unemployment benefits, you may be eligible for:
- Federal Emergency Unemployment Compensation* (Federal EUC), or;
- Minnesota Special State Emergency Unemployment Compensation (State EUC)
* An additional $25 supplemental payment is also available to applicants receiving federal EUC benefits. This is effective February 22, 2009 through December 26, 2009.
Highlights:
- Up to 33 weeks of EUC benefits available (amounts will vary based on your regular state unemployment benefit account).
- The weekly amount will be the same as your regular state unemployment benefit amount.
- EUC benefits have the same eligibility requirements of regular unemployment benefits.
